Early 18th C. Scandinavian Long Table

An early 18th century Scandinavian long table. A rare, incredibly substantial langbord made from the foundations of 18th-century (and earlier) wooden houses. Traditionally ceremonial, brought out for events like weddings, funerals, and the summer solstice. Constructed in pine with a substantial top. Heavily, heavily patinated with many age old repairs due to hundreds of years of use.
