Rare Pair Of XL French Modernist Floor Lamps by Maurice Lombart

A rare pair of floor lamps designed by Maurice Lombart for the Hôtel de Ville, Boulogne-Billancourt, circa 1934. The Hôtel de Ville was designed by architect Tony Garnier with Jacques Debat-Ponsan. The interiors brought together several important designers of the period, including Jean Prouvé, René Herbst and Maurice Lombart. Lombart designed furniture and lighting for the building, including these column floor lamps.
